We developed an inspection system for medical packaging labels. This system utilized two vision systems mounted to a winder system for a roll of labels. The two vision systems were responsible for inspecting the print quality of barcodes and lot information in text form. They also utilized barcode reading and optical character verification to verify the correctness of the barcode and text information.
